Job Title: Finance Controller

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Immediate Hire: To be seated on or before December 1 2022.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting operations including the review of journal entries, accounts payable, and statutory reporting
• Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and external reporting to financial institutions, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met
• Assigns and authorizes cheques, purchase orders, and invoices
• With input from the CFO, responsible for the formulation of accounting policies, procedures and controls
• Work with external tax consultants in the preparation of corporate Tax filings.

Requirements of the Position

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification
• Chartered Accountant
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Ability to learn new business management software
• Highly organized, sets priorities, meets deadlines
• Strong aptitude for numbers, attention to detail, and accuracy
• Communicates effectively with various stakeholders
• Able to deal with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
• Based in Lagos
• High Emotional Intelligence.

Salary
N400,000 / month.
