We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Weighbridge Supervisor

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Purpose

• To validate the accuracy of inbound and outbound materials using weighbridge to safeguard the company against loss of stock

The Job

• Assign and supervise all staff at the weighbridge in their respective shifts.
• Prepare and submit duty rosters of weighbridge staff for approval of Weighbridge Manager.
• Maintain a log of all occurrences and brief the weighbridge manager on the same promptly.
• Assist weighbridge manager to formulate performance improvement strategy.
• Accurately take weight of incoming and outgoing trucks and materials.
• Validate the correctness of invoices, waybills and weighbridge tickets before any loaded trucks exits the company.
• Collate, prepared and submit weighbridge staff shift allowance and overtime sheet to HR department for payment.
• Report/resolve all weight related issue to weighbridge manager and other stakeholders.
• Support clients/vendors during weighbridge repairs and calibration.
• Ensure and maintain healthy relationship with team and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit accurate and error free data/ report to Weighbridge manager daily/monthly.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety measures at the weighbridge e.g wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements
Qualification:

• 5 O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
• OND in Business Administration or any related discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG industry.

• Possess strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Be proficient in leveraging data and sales insights to improve trade execution and business performance.
