We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Weighbridge Operator

Location: Kama-Otto, Nasarawa
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for accurately weighing and recording all incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining order at the weighbridge to prevent congestion.
• The role requires proficiency in data entry, verifying weigh tickets, and reporting any discrepancies or system issues to the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Weigh and record all incoming and outgoing goods using the weighbridge system.
• Utilize computer software for data entry and maintaining weigh records.
• Verify weigh tickets and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain order at the weighbridge area to avoid congestion and ensure smooth operations.
• Report any discrepancies in weight records or system malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining weighbridge equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Keep accurate records and generate reports as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree / HND with 1-3 years work experience.
• Proficiency in basic office operations, especially Microsoft Word and excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work shifts.
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
