Job Title: Universal Teller

Location: Eket, Akwa Ibom

Job Summary

• The Universal Teller will be responsible for processing customer transactions efficiently and accurately while providing excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cheque transactions, and other teller services accurately.
• Verify customer details, signatures, cheques, and transaction documents in line with banking procedures.
• Balance and reconcile cash and transactions at the end of each business day.
• Attend to customer enquiries, resolve transaction-related concerns.
• Promote and cross-sell relevant banking products and services to customers.
• Adhere strictly to KYC, AML, fraud prevention, cash handling, and other regulatory requirements.
• Identify and report suspicious transactions or activities in accordance with the Bank’s policies.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of customer information and bank funds.
• Collaborate effectively with other branch staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Participate in required training and remain updated on banking procedures, products, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit/Second Class Lower.
• Previous experience in a teller, cashier, customer service, or banking operations role is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, communication, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced banking environment.
• NYSC completion/exemption certificate, compulsory
• Age limit is 29 years or below
• Proximity to job location.

Benefits

• Salary: 200,000 naira monthly
• Other Benefits: HMO, 13th Month and Leave allowance.
