Job Title: Unit Head – Tax, Insurance and Fixed Assets Management

Location: Lagos

Role Description

• This is a full-time hybrid role as Unit Head, Tax, Insurance and Fixed Assets Management at First Bank of Nigeria Ltd in Lagos.
• The role involves tasks related to tax planning, tax compliance, indirect taxation, tax law, and overseeing tax-related matters. While primarily based in Lagos, some remote work is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 15 years experience
• ACA/ACCA is compulsory
• Professional certification in taxation is a plus.
• Tax Planning, Tax Management and Tax Compliance skills
• Knowledge of Nigerian Taxation Laws, especially as applicable to Financial Services firms
• Experience in handling various tax matters, engaging tax authorities and driving regulatory audits
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
