We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Trade Marketing Executive

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor analysis and be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans to support the business’ sales objectives and brand strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute trade marketing plans to support sales objectives and brand strategies.
  • Plan and implement in-store promotions, displays, and other merchandising activities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create tailored trade programs and promotional materials for key accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization of trade marketing efforts.
  • Manage relationships with retailers and distributors to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess product performance, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align trade marketing activities with overall brand campaigns and objectives.
  • Prepare and present reports on trade marketing activities, performance metrics, and ROI analysis.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.

Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing trade marketing plans.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage relationships with retailers and distributors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel for market visits and other business needs.
