Job Title: Territory Development Officer

Location: Ajeromi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Territory Development Officer to drive customer acquisition and financing sales within Ajeromi. The role involves field prospecting, lead generation, customer onboarding, territory mapping, relationship management, and competitor monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate prospective customers within Ajeromi and surrounding areas.
• Visit and map 3-wheeler/tricycle parks, identifying park/branch chairmen and potential customers.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of at least 100 leads, including 30 high-potential leads.
• Identify prospects with stable income, repayment capacity, and credible guarantors.
• Collect and verify required customer/guarantor information and KYC documents.
• Convert qualified leads into customers and support them through the onboarding and financing process.
• Achieve monthly customer acquisition and financing/sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and agents to encourage repeat transactions.
• Monitor competitors’ pricing, deposits, repayment plans, loan terms, promotions, and market activities.
• Submit accurate daily/weekly sales, field activity, pipeline, and competitor reports.
• Work closely with Credit, Operations, Collections, and Marketing teams to resolve onboarding and customer issues.
• Ensure full compliance with KYC and company procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/NCE/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is an advantage.
• 2–5 years’ experience in Field Sales, Business Development, Microfinance, Asset Finance, Fintech, or a related sector.
• Proven experience in lead generation, prospecting, customer acquisition, and sales pipeline management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Target-driven and comfortable working in a field-based environment.
• Basic knowledge of CRM/mobile applications and digital reporting tools.
• Ability to identify and develop business opportunities within a defined territory.
• Must reside within or close to Ajeromi/Festac/Apapa/Orile-Iganmu or other nearby areas, with easy access to the assigned territory.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly (Open / Negotiable).
