Job Title: Territory Development Executive

Location: Sagamu, Ogun

Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Territory Manager / Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Development Executive from a FMCG to join our team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with clients and channel partners within your assigned territory.
  • You will play a key role in driving revenue growth and brand visibility through effective territory management and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets and improve market share.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Regularly visit customers and potential leads to promote products/services and close deals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align strategies and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and territory performance.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help improve products, services, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in trade shows, promotional events, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or territory management (preferred FMCG).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
