Koolboks is a sustainable cooling solutions startup that designs and distributes solar-powered refrigeration products — like freezers, chillers, and ice makers — especially for places with limited or unreliable electricity access, such as many communities and small businesses across Africa.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Telesales Executive

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a dynamic and persuasive Telesales Executive to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reaching out to existing and potential customers to promote Koolboks products and services, closing sales, and supporting customer satisfaction and retention efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call existing and potential customers to introduce and sell Koolboks products and services.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability.
  • Accurately record and process customer purchase orders and transactions.
  • Generate qualified leads for the outside sales team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Update and manage customer records, including payment methods, feedback, and purchase history.
  • Use approved sales scripts to guide conversations and handle objections.
  • Understand and effectively communicate product features, benefits, and use cases tailored to customer needs.
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily and monthly call and sales targets.
  • Provide timely reports and feedback on customer trends and market insights.
  • Support other sales or customer engagement initiatives as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in selling tech or renewable energy products is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a telesales agent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to learn about products and services quickly and explain them to customers.
  • Good organizational and data entry skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting sales quotas.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is an advantage.
