We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technology Sales and Marketing Consultant

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Remote, Contract, Commission

Responsibilities

  • Develop new partnerships with strategic organizations and new leads through direct outreach, conferences, & networking.
  • Be responsible for generating & managing your pipeline including prospecting, following up with leads, demos, writing & compiling full proposal
  • Be responsible for developing, conducting, and evaluating campaigns to initiate contact with new institutions across India
  • Organize virtual events for the promotion of programs with or without partners and manage other ad-hoc business development duties
  • The role requires significant interaction with clients, which may be face-to-face or over the telephone/emails.

Tasks

  • Understanding customers’ diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs;
  • Selling to B2B prospects as well as B2C for products and services assigned to you.
  • Cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads, and arrange meetings;
  • Identifying and developing new business through networking and courtesy and follow-up calls;
  • Preparing and delivering customer presentations clearly and confidently;
  • Marketing and promoting a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and through attending industry events;
  • Developing effective sales plans using sales methodology;
  • Meeting sales targets set by managers and contributing to team targets
  • Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades;
  • Managing workload in order to organize and prioritize weekly and monthly goals;
  • Contributing to team or progress meetings to update and inform team members.

Working Hours:

  • Flexibility- flexible work schedule where you manage your own working hours
  • Working hours are typically flexible and within regular office hours.

What to Expect:

  • This is a work-from-home position with occasional travel to potential and current clients (if need be). This person is expected to have reliable transportation.
  • There is a business-orientated dress code whenever dealing face to face with customers, except when working from home where the dress is informal.
  • Weekly meetings or reporting with or to Manager to discuss any leads or new clients
  • Working with other team members to plan and implement IT solutions for new customers

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree (can be substituted with adequate experience)
  • At least 3 years experience as Salesperson/Consultant
  • Must have worked in an Information Technology company or a related industry
  • Must have a good record of closed and successful deals with proof.
  • Must have previous relevant customer base and business relationships.
  • Must BE customer service oriented
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have access to a computer and smart phone.
  • Must have worked professionally with reporting tools like CRM and others
  • A remote working experience is an added advantage.
  • Have a good competence in selling anything.

Salary & Additional Information

  • This will be a Remote working position whose earning is purely performance-based with an attractive remuneration for the first 6 to 12 months before confirmation. Afterwards, if performance has been acceptable this will go to a confirmed full-time competitively paid position with other bonus and benefits.
  • Monthly Salary Range: N100,000.00 to N500,000.00 depending on grade level and experience.
