Job Title: Team Lead, Policy and Standards

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Department/unit: Information Technology. /CIO Organisation / IT Governance & Enterprise Architecture Group.
Reports to: Group Head, IT Governance & Enterprise Architecture.

Job objective(s)

  • Provide leadership, supervise, and ensure implementation of all technology related standard and/or frameworks as defined in CBN IT Standard Blueprint or as may eb advise by other regulators.
  • Supervise the Development and management of appropriate IT policies and process standards ensuring the appropriate adherence control mechanisms exist and ensure policy awareness is conducted.
  • Ensure the Bank is certified to all related IT standards and Frameworks for improved customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain an updated repository of materials and reference guide on IT procedures, policies and standards.
  • Maintain an updated working knowledge of the relevant IT regulatory issues and best-practice to ensure the bank complies to regulation & policy.
  • Communicate new policies and provide a channel to the IT community to provide feedback and request clarification on the interpretation of IT policies and other bank related policies.
  • Participate in the Policy and Standards review to develop technology related policies, reporting overall adherence and proposing remedial action.
  • Sponsor policy adherence audits, report findings and propose corrective actions to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Interface with IT & business stakeholders regarding the definition and selection of the most appropriate IT process supporting toolset.

Job Requirements

  • BSc Degree in computer Science, Engineering, management information system or, related IT discipline.
  • Certification in TOGAF, ITSM, BCMS, OHSMS ISMS COBIT, ITIL is a requirement. MBA/MSC and are added advantage.
  • Minimum requisite experience – Minimum of 5 years professional management of IT Standards or related role.
  • Excellent professional knowledge of the systems and procedures which underlay the standards, framework and policies for improved customer satisfaction and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop new policies, procedures, processes and reports.
  • Strong leadership skills.
