Job Title: Team Lead, Ethics Line

Location: Lagos

About the Job

  • The KPMG Ethics Line is an independent whistleblowing service that clients subscribe to for confidential reporting of misconduct, fraud, and other ethical concerns.
  • The facility receives and manages whistleblowing reports on behalf of clients while ensuring anonymity, confidentiality, and compliance with local regulations and global best practices.

We are seeking an Ethics Line Lead to join our team in Lagos on a permanent basis. You will:

  • Lead the delivery of whistleblowing services to clients.
  • Ensure adherence to KPMG policies, Nigerian regulations, and international standards (e.g., ISO 37002).
  • Manage ethics line operators and oversee intake, operations, and reporting processes.
  • Drive business growth.
  • Maintain service excellence and client trust.
  • Review call sheets and case memos for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly summary reports for clients.
  • Manage client onboarding and ensure alignment with internal policies and client-specific requirements.
  • Oversee administrative tasks.
  • Lead research on industry trends.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, awareness materials, and training for clients.
  • Support business development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (NDPR) and confidentiality protocols.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Unit.

Requirements
Technical & Professional:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to new technology platforms.
  • Strong interviewing and probing skills.
  • Ability to analyze trends and prepare actionable insights.

Behavioral:

  • High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective listening and empathy when handling whistleblower concerns.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience managing teams and client-facing roles.

Added Advantage:

  • Multilingual proficiency (English + Hausa/Yoruba/Igbo).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 37002).
  • Proven track record in business development and revenue growth.
  • At least 6 – 8 years’ experience in a similar role
