Job Description

• Jesab International Schools is seeking passionate, dedicated and competent teachers to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, assessments and teaching materials.
• Assess students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
• Identify students’ learning needs and provide appropriate support.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, confidence and active participation.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, performance and development.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, trainings and extracurricular programmes.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress where required.
• Uphold the school’s values, policies and professional standards.

Requirements
Education:

• Minimum of B.Ed., B.Sc./B.A. with PGDE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• TRCN certification/registration will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• 4 – 9 years of teaching experience in a reputable primary or secondary school.
• Experience teaching the relevant subject/class level is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with demonstrable teaching ability and relevant qualifications may also be considered for suitable positions.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Good knowledge of subject matter and teaching methodologies.
• Ability to use creative and engaging teaching techniques.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children and teenagers.
• Basic digital literacy and ability to use technology in teaching.
• Teamwork, professionalism and a positive attitude.

Other Requirements:

• Must demonstrate genuine passion for teaching and child development.
• Must be patient, responsible, disciplined and approachable.
• Must have excellent professional conduct and integrity.
• Must be willing to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Candidates should reside within Ojo, Alaba, Iyana-Iba, Festac, Satellite Town, Amuwo-Odofin or nearby areas, or be able to commute reliably.
• Successful candidates may be required to undergo an interview, teaching demonstration and reference/background checks.

Remuneration

• Salary: N35,000 – N70,000 Monthly.
• Competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
