Job Title: Tailoring / Embroidery and Monogramming Machine Operator

Location: Asaba, Delta

Job Description

• We are searching for a skilled and reliable embroidery machine operator to join our company. In this role, it will be your job to set up embroidery machines and operate them.
• You will also be expected to perform regular maintenance duties and provide creative advice.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyzing and understanding project specifications and clients’ needs before starting each embroidery project.
• Selecting the thread, fabric, hoops, and designs appropriate to each project.
• Setting up machines and supervising the embroidery process.
• Performing regular machine and inventory inspections and reporting any issues or reordering stock as required.
• Providing suggestions regarding the design, placement, and fabric and thread selection.
• Providing training and guidance to new staff.
• Keeping track of work orders and updating records.
• Communicating with clients and ensuring that all orders are sent out on time.
• Drawing guides or pinning tissue paper patterns onto fabric.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience as an embroidery machine operator or similar.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with multiple types of fabrics and patterns
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet the quality and performance standards of the position.

Salary
N45,000 – N60,000 / month.
