Job Description
The tasks a Surveyor – Transmission Line is expected to perform include:

• Carrying out route survey of power transmission line​ Preparing line drawing of proposed line path with survey data.
• Oversees the development, maintenance, planning, and preparation of surveying procedures, systems, and projects.
• Projects may include implementation of global positioning systems (GPS) and geographic information systems (GIS), indexing documents and maps, and records maintenance, should be knowledge of Total Station.
• This position is for a transmission line surveyor who is capable to perform transmission line survey, Transmission Line Route Alignment, Tower Spotting, Right of Way Topographic Survey, and providing the survey in related software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Ms Excel, Google Earth, and preferably PLS CADD.
• The duration of the contract will be one year. Job location will be at office and at field. Salary will be negotiable. At least one year previous experience is required for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Survey transmission line routes in different types of terrain.
• Finding the most economical routing for the transmission line.
• Spotting locations where transmission line towers shall be installed.
• Finding the final alignment for the transmission line.
• Using GPS, Total Station, and Digital Theodolite for Transmission line survey.
• should be knowledge of Total Station.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.Sc Degree / or equally Diploma in Engineering ( preferably Electrical Engineering)
• Minimum of one year experience in transmission line surveying
• Good English Skill and communication skill
• Having Past experience in tranmission line Survey.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / Month.
