FlexEdge Limited – Our client, a Tech Solutions company, is recruiting a skilled and dedicated candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Support Engineer / Technician (Tech Savvy)

Locations: Benin – Edo & Yobe
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The role involves troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and effective support.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients who requires such services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to clients experiencing issues with the Client’s products and services.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems, escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other support engineers to find solutions to recurring issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand and analyze the product’s issues.
  • Offer clear instructions to clients on issue resolution, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure that their technical concerns are addressed satisfactorily.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer complaints, technical issues, and resolutions in the support ticketing system.
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of support documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Stay informed about products, updates, and new features.
  • Continuously build expertise in the technical aspects of the products to provide effective support.
  • Work closely with other teams, including development, sales, and quality assurance, to convey client feedback and contribute to product improvements.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights, challenges, and solutions.

Basic Requirements

  • OND / NCE in Engineering/Computer Science/Relevant training
  • 3 – 4 years engineers in Tech Solutions, knowledgeable in repairs and maintenance of Hardwares (POS Terminals, Printers, Tech products)
  • Good communication skills,
  • Problem-Solving & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail Oriented with a focus on accuracy & efficiency.
