Job Title: Supply Chain Officer

Job Summary

• Our client in the agro sector is seeking an experienced and highly organized Supply Chain Officer to join their team.
• The ideal candidate should have solid experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, and export operations, with a good understanding of the processes involved in moving agricultural products from sourcing to local and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations.
• Manage the movement of agricultural products from suppliers to warehouses, customers, and export destinations.
• Coordinate export documentation, shipping schedules, and logistics arrangements.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation requirements, and international trade procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movement to ensure timely deliveries.
• Track shipments and provide updates on delivery and export status.
• Support procurement and supplier management activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate supply chain, logistics, and export records.
• Identify and resolve supply chain and logistics challenges.
• Monitor transportation costs and support cost-effective logistics planning.
• Ensure proper handling, packaging, and documentation of agro products for export.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, preferably within the agro sector.
• Strong understanding of export operations and international trade procedures.
• Practical knowledge of export documentation, shipping processes, customs procedures, and freight forwarding.
• Experience coordinating the export of agricultural products will be a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant supply chain/logistics software.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers, logistics providers, customers, and international partners.

Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 monthly.
