Job Summary

• We are a growing dredging services start-up based in Odukpani, Calabar, focused on delivering efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible dredging operations.
• As part of our growth, we seek a smart, detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to support daily operational activities and reporting.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring site operations, coordinating activities, and providing accurate daily operational reports to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily dredging and site operations to ensure work is carried out efficiently and safely.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and operational plans.
• Monitor equipment usage, manpower deployment, and general site activities.
• Prepare and submit clear, accurate daily operational reports to management.
• Maintain proper records of activities, incidents, and work progress.
• Support coordination between field teams, contractors, and management.
• Communicate operational updates, issues, and recommendations to management.
• Ensure discipline, professionalism, and productivity among site personnel.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum educational qualification: B.Sc or HND in any relevant field.
• 2 – 3 years of relevant supervisory or operational experience, preferably in dredging, construction, marine, or similar field operations.
• Strong ability to monitor activities and pay attention to detail.
• Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
• Smart, proactive, and well-organized personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email reporting, etc.
• Ability to work effectively in a field/site environment.
• Ability to work independently.
