Job Description

  • Physics & further mathematics
  • Biology & Basic Science
  • Geography & Economics

  • Chemistry & basic technology

Responsibilities

• As an educator, your responsibilities are and not limited to; developing the student’s interest in learning through effective or transformational teaching, grading assignments, evaluating students’, mentorship and planning educational activities.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards and ignite curiosity.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom that supports each learner’s growth and individuality.
• Integrate modern teaching methods and digital tools to make learning relevant and interactive.
• Assess, record and report on students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities.
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on students’ progress and wellbeing.
• Uphold the school’s core values, policies and commitment to student success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education; B.Ed, M.Ed in specified or related subjects.
• BSc with PGDE in specified or related subjects.
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a teacher in secondary school.
• A knowledge of Cambridge Standard will be an added advantage.
• An Education qualification/certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to teach WAEC AND JAMB CLASSCertification in IGCSE and CHECKPOINT will be given high preference.
• Cognate experience in preparing learners for external examinations.
