Job Title: Structural Engineer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are currently seeking an accomplished Structural Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, particularly in factory construction, real estate development, and other industrial structures.
• The successful candidate will bring in-depth technical expertise, leadership capability, and a track record of delivering complex structural projects safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD teams.
• Oversee the structural integrity and safety of buildings from conceptual design through to construction and completion.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and developers to integrate structural designs with overall project goals.
• Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and structural assessments for ongoing and completed projects.
• Ensure adherence to local and international building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Evaluate and select appropriate construction materials and structural systems for each project.
• Support the preparation of bids, budgets, schedules, and technical reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve structural engineering issues during design and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Chartered Engineer / PE License or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Proven experience working directly with real estate developers and on factory/industrial building projects.
• Strong command of structural design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit).
• In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
