We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Storekeeper – Raw Fruit

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• The storekeeper is responsible for overseeing all activities within the store and storage areas, ensuring accurate documentation and filing of received and issued goods.
• They must prevent operational delays, coordinate offloading activities within set timelines, and proactively manage inventory to avoid stock shortages.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the inspecting, confirmation and accurate documentation of received stocks.
• Ensure organized store arrangements and maintains efficient labelling system.
• Ensure proper material handling to avoid damage or contamination.
• Manages stock rotation to prevent obsolescence (FIFO/FEFO methods)
• Timely processing of requisitions from production departments and handles production returns.
• Organize the staging of goods for dispatch based on sales orders and shipment schedules and ensure all shipping documents are correct (Packing list, Invoices and Waybill).
• Conduct regular cycle count and reconciles physical inventory with system records to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintains accurate records of stock movement, and timely updates of local report with movement traceability forms.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate reorders requests when necessary.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and maintain a clean/organized work environment.
• Suggest improvements to enhance storage efficiency and accuracy.
• Prior experience in handling farm produce will be an advantage.

Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements

• HND / OND in Accounting, Finance and Economics and other related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Maintain data integrity
• GRN {goods receive note} creation.
• Replenishment & stock level cycle
• Capture problem solving documentation
• Achieve optimal reporting capability
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
