Job Summary

• Our client, a reputable Bottled Water Production Company in Alagbado, Lagos, is seeking a diligent and organized Inventory Officer to manage inventory records, monitor stock movements, and ensure the availability and accuracy of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems or Microsoft Excel.
• Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items to management.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconciliations.
• Track inventory movements between the warehouse, production floor, and dispatch unit.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to minimize losses and damages.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Prepare inventory reports and support periodic audits.
• Work closely with the Procurement, Production, and Sales teams to ensure efficient inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years’ experience in inventory or storekeeping, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of inventory control and stock management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to perform stock reconciliation and investigate inventory variances.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and reliability.

Salary
N90,000 – N100,000 monthly.
