Job Title: Storekeeper

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and control of engineering materials, tools, spare parts, equipment, and consumables.
• The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory records and timely availability of materials to support engineering, maintenance, and project operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Record stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns accurately.
• Monitor stock levels and raise replenishment requests when required.
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Organise and maintain the store for easy identification and retrieval of materials.
• Issue materials only against approved requisitions and maintain proper documentation.
• Track tools, equipment, and other technical assets issued to employees and project teams.
• Prepare and maintain GRNs, Goods Issue Vouchers, Bin Cards, Stock Transfer Notes, and inventory reports.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, stock rotation, and security of inventory.
• Identify and report damaged, obsolete, expired, or slow-moving items.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures, HSE policies, and proper use of PPE.
• Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Finance, and Project teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Support stock reconciliation, asset verification, audits, and inventory reporting.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Officer, Inventory Officer, or in a similar role.
• Experience in an engineering, technical services, manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, electrical, or industrial environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience handling engineering tools, spare parts, technical equipment, and industrial materials.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Good understanding of HSE and warehouse safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, record-keeping, and accountability.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional certification in Inventory Management or Supply Chain is an added advantage.

Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 monthly.
