Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Store Keeper to manage our inventory and ensure the smooth operation of our stores.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management and possess a strong understanding of the FMCG sector.
  • This role is essential for maintaining stock levels, ensuring product quality, and facilitating efficient distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions using warehouse management systems.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and prevent inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage methods are used to maintain product quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and manage stock replenishment.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports on inventory levels, stock turnover, and product expiry.
  • Organize and maintain a tidy storage area, ensuring safety and accessibility of products.
  • Train and supervise warehouse personnel in inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Handle any discrepancies or issues related to stock in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar inventory management role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse operations.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
