We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Store Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • This position is responsible for effective issuance of all materials (consumables, engineering spares, and equipment etc) to achieve documentation of receipt and processing of bills while items delivered without LPO are tracked accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain stock control: the self-assured receipt against LPOs, storage, and timely documentation.
  • Ensure good Inventory management- checking reorder level and ensure timely placement of requisition for replenishment.
  • Minimize the level of Stock Shrinkage and maintain accurate and detailed records of all stock movements both into and out of the Store.
  • Check all stocks received into and going out of the stores to ensure accurate records are kept
  • Ensure respective user departmental inspection of incoming materials and obtain certification before receipt of same into the Store
  • Maintain an up-to-date register and ensure tracker for materials on ‘returnable and non-returnable basis’.
  • Ensure 100% shelf visibility and rack compliance by good manufacturing practice and ensure Safety Storage principles are followed.
  • Maintaining an up to date LOL Indent Register and produce regular reports and statistics as required
  • Ensure prompt documentation of materials/items receipt by generating SRVs and dispatch same with suppliers’ invoice(s).
  • Full participation in all stock count activities (pre-stock and regular) and ensure all variances are resolved timely.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain or any other related disciplines
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Sound knowledge of ERP, Warehouse and Storekeeping
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving skills with attention to details and interpersonal skills.
