Job Title: Stock Operator

Location:  Ogun

Key Responsibilities

• Start-up, operates, and shut down stock preparation machines according to standard operating procedures.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal stock preparation conditions and product quality.
• Continuously monitor stock levels and ensure an adequate supply of raw materials for the production process.
• Record operational data, such as consistency, temperature, and chemical additions.
• Conduct regular inspections of the stock to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Report any deviations from quality standards to the Shift Supervisor.
• Manage the receipt, storage, and handling of raw materials used in stock preparation.
• Ensure proper mixing and blending of materials to achieve the desired stock consistency.
• Perform routine maintenance on stock preparation equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in stock preparation or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical training or certification in machine operation or industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining stock preparation equipment.
• Strong understanding of stock preparation processes and their impact on product quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
• Capability to work in a hot and humid environment.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
