Job Title: Steward

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities

• Cooks guests’ orders according to their preferences
• Employ food safety best practices and make sure that all kitchen staff members do the same
• Act with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces
• Select choice ingredients that will give dishes the best flavour
• Experiments to come up with new specialties that will draw diners into the restaurant
• Determine how much food to order and maintain an appropriate supply at guest house
• Keep up with trends in cooking to ensure that Lafarge guests have a positive experience
• Work quickly and accurately during busy periods, such as weekends and evenings
• Ensure the Lafarge guest house is clean and neat.
• Do laundry, Ensure the kitchen utensils are cleaning and dishes are constantly washed.

Requirement

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND / NCE qualification.
