Sevan Construction Nigeria Limited was established in 1981 with Registration No. RC 37125 as a limited liability company specialized in all kinds of “PEB”: Pre-Engineered Buildings. Located in Lagos, Nigeria. Working from certified designs in the manufacturing and erection of steel structures, we can construct a wide variety of buildings such as: warehouses, airport hangers, factories, churches, commercial and residential spaces with Structural Steel fabrication design & erection to the civil construction and in the Oil & Gas Industries, development and manufacturing of various semi-trailers, rigid truck bodies, which enabled the company to deliver complete projects of steel structures coupled with civil engineering. Our factory is run by a team of specialized professional staff and can churn out 250tons of steel products a month. Job Title: Steel Detailing Draughtsman

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• To prepare a workshop drawing.
• To prepare a proposed BOQ backup drawing.
• To prepare the Bill of Quantity.
• Should be able to price a prepared Bill of Quantity.
• To forecast and prepare the program of work for projects.
• To prepare the method statement for fabrication and erection works.
• To represent the company at the site meeting.
• To coordinate the project from fabrication to handover.
• To prepare the interim valuation for the company and subcontractors.
• To prepare the final valuation for the project.
• To prepare a material list for a project.
• To communicate with the client and the structural engineer for clarification on the project.
• To take a record of physical observation/measurement of the new project, give a report and implement the reading.
• To coordinate with the Factory Manager on project activities, staff management and giving up-to-date project reports.

Qualifications

• BSc in Engineering, Architecture or a degree from a technical college.
• Experience: 4– 8years as a draughtsman– with specification to the SteelFabrication Industry
• Note: Proximity to Illupeju, Anthony Oshodi will be an added advantage.
• Candidates who are willing to resume immediately will be highly preferred.

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Steel Detailing Drafter or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (AutoCAD) software, Tekla.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling tools and Excel.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 / month.
