We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: State Sales Coordinator

Locations: Enugu and Imo
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports Line: The Head Business Development

Position Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organized and execution-driven Sales Coordinator to lead and supervise field Sales Representatives across Enugu or Imo State.
  • This role is accountable for sales execution, territory discipline, reporting accuracy, collections control, and team productivity. Success is measured by results, not activity.
  • Acts as the execution arm of the Head of Business Development at the state level, ensuring strategy translates into measurable field results.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Coordination & Supervision:

  • Supervise and coordinate Sales Representatives across assigned routes and LGAs.
  • Ensure daily route execution, outlet coverage, and productivity.
  • Enforce sales discipline, attendance, and performance standards.
  • Coach, motivate, and correct field sales staff to drive consistent results.

Sales Performance & Target Management:

  • Break down state sales targets into daily and weekly targets per Sales Representative.
  • Track performance across staples, electronics, solar products, pharmacy items, FMCG, and general merchandise.
  • Ensure balanced selling across all product categories.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions immediately.

Market Development & Expansion:

  • Support onboarding of new outlets, distributors, and key accounts.
  • Drive market penetration and visibility for Fortitude IoT brands.
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend pricing, promotional, or route adjustments.
  • Ensure effective execution of promotions, activations, and merchandising standards.

Reporting, Controls & Compliance:

  • Review and validate daily sales, collections, and activity reports.
  • Compile and submit accurate weekly and monthly state sales reports.
  • Enforce company pricing, credit, and collection policies.
  • Control stock movement, minimize losses, and enforce accountability.

Logistics & Internal Coordination:

  • Coordinate with logistics for timely product delivery.
  • Liaise with management, finance, and operations teams for smooth execution.
  • Escalate operational challenges promptly with practical, solution-driven action

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND / NCE / HND / Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred).
  • 2–4 years’ experience in FMCG or multi-category field sales, with supervisory responsibility.
  • Proven ability to manage and drive field sales teams.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and people-management skills.
  • High integrity with a strong control mindset.
  • Deep knowledge of Enugu State or Imo State markets is mandatory.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent results.
