Job Title: Sonographer

Location: Badagry, Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled, accurate, and professional Sonographer to join our team at the Badagry facility.
• The successful candidate will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations and support accurate diagnostics and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of ultrasound examinations (abdominal, obstetric, pelvic, soft tissue, and other relevant scans).
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, and clear communication during procedures.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Capture high-quality images and provide preliminary findings as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere strictly to infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality protocols.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnosis.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and report any technical issues promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Ultrasonography, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate certificate in Ultrasound is required.
• Valid practicing license/registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria (e.g., RRBN).
• Previous experience as a Sonographer in a diagnostic centre or hospital is preferred.
• Completed NYSC is an added advantage.

Requirements & Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of ultrasound techniques and equipment.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and good hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage patient workflow efficiently.
