We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Solvent Extraction Plant Supervisor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Purpose

• To ensure smooth operation of the solvent extraction plant to ensure maximum productivity in the most efficient manner.

The Job

• Responsible for personnel and machine safety and ensures that all personnel are actively involved in the production activities.
• Actively involved in production maintenance and overhaul of machinery in the event of a breakdown.
• Be aware of identified food safety risks, opportunities, and consequences inherent in the departmental/work processes concerning the Food Safety Management Systems requirements, and where applicable.
• Responsible for the production efficiency indicators and timely resolution of problems and optimal use of people and machines.
• Maintain good housekeeping condition of the extraction and prep plant.
• Ensure the safety of self and others in the line of duty.

Qualification

• HND / B.Sc Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years’ cognate experience.

The Person Must:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Familiarity with general maintenance procedures, including basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Ability to identify and resolve operational issues, including equipment malfunctions, and implement appropriate solutions.
