Apart from power generation and distribution, we can also provide EPC and maintenance services for substations, transmission line and pressure reducing & measuring stations. On 8th April 2016, Paras Energy became the 27th Company to supply power to National Grid in Nigeria and the first privately owned company to supply power under a bilateral agreement to their customers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Solar Site Engineer

Locations: Lagos, Sabon Wuse – Niger and Agbara & Ogere – Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Regularly inspect and maintain solar panels, inverters, and other components.
  • Implement preventive, predictive and corrective / breakdown maintenance strategies to extend system lifespan and keep a record of it.
  • Identifying the root causes of faults and implementing countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
  • Train technicians and other personnel on system maintenance procedures.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and other personnel regarding system status and maintenance plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and performance data.
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly & yearly reports on system performance and maintenance activities for stakeholders.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in Solar Energy and Power Generation is vital.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good use of MS Excel is important.
  • Ideal Candidates will be residents in the location chosen or willing to relocate at their own expense.
  • Ready to travel within and outside the country at any time.
