Summary

• Our Client is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to manage enterprise software development, application support, maintenance, integration, and lifecycle activities across its operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage software development projects from planning through implementation.
• Develop, integrate, maintain and support enterprise applications.
• Ensure compliance with software development standards and application lifecycle processes.
• Lead application performance reviews, upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support, user training, acceptance testing and post-implementation assistance.
• Ensure proper documentation of software projects, procedures, technical processes and user manuals.
• Work closely with IT teams and service providers to resolve application issues.
• Ensure minimal application downtime and reliable access to business-critical information.
• Support the development and re-engineering of multiple software projects annually.
• Promote HSE compliance and safe working practices.

Requirements

• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Engineering, Software Engineering, Information & Knowledge Management, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in IS analysis, design, software development and management within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting E&P / Oil & Gas operations is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of DBMS, Windows Server/Workstation environments, software development methodologies, data management and application support.
• Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Strong team-building, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
