Job Title: Social Media Marketing Specialist

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview

• Assist in creating engaging content (reels, carousels, stories, captions, etc.) for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Research social media trends, audio, hashtags, and competitor content.
• Help with the planning and scheduling of weekly content using tools like Meta Business Suite, Notion, or Google Sheets.
• Track analytics and prepare basic weekly reports on follower growth, reach, engagement, and content performance, and prepare a report for weekly team meetings.
• Attend team meetings, contribute ideas, and take notes where necessary.
• Occasionally assist with field marketing (e.g., visiting hostels, churches, or events for campaign promotions).
• Help design simple graphics using Canva or templates provided.
• Stay updated on brand voice, visual identity, and marketing objectives.
• And other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Strong interest in social media, content creation, and branding.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and basic video editing tools (CapCut, Canva, VN, etc.).
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Photography/videography skills, experience with Google Sheets, or prior internship experience.
