We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Jabi, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager at Tress Trend Company Limited located in Jabi. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement. They will create and curate content, manage social media platforms, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager for a brand or company.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and shareable content
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
