Job Description

• The role of a Social Media Handler and Content Creator combines strategic social media management with the hands-on creation of engaging, platform-specific material
• The professional is responsible for both the content itself and the overall execution of the brand’s social media presence.

Core Responsibilities

• Content Creation:Produce a variety of engaging content, including text posts, images, short-form videos (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikToks), and infographics, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives.
• Strategy & Planning:Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Community Management:Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner to foster a positive online community and manage customer feedback.
• Trend Monitoring:Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to ensure content remains relevant and effective.
• Performance Analysis:Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to measure success and inform future strategies.
• Campaign Management:Plan and execute social media campaigns, which may include paid advertising and influencer collaborations, to boost visibility and achieve marketing goals.
• Collaboration:Work closely with other internal teams, such as marketing, design, and sales, to ensure content consistency and alignment with broader business objectives.

Category Skills & Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND / Master’s Degree with 3 – 5 years experience.
• Creative: Excellent writing and editing skills, visual storytelling ability, a keen eye for design, and creative thinking.
• Technical: Proficiency in graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut), and experience with social media management/scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer).
• Analytical: Strong understanding of social media algorithms, SEO best practices, and the ability to interpret data from analytics platforms.
• Soft Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to multitask, adaptability, and effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Salary
N150,000 – N170,000 / month.
