Job Title: Social Media & Digital Comms Officer

Job Summary

• Our client seeks qualified talent with experience in handling social media presence and day-to-day online communication for its RegTech business.
• The successful candidate will manage existing accounts, create new accounts where they do not already exist, improve the appearance and presentation of existing pages, create professional content, publish consistently, and respond appropriately to messages and comments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the firm’s Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and Google Business Profile.
• Create new company accounts where required and maintain correct access details.
• Prepare monthly and weekly content plans.
• Create professional graphics, carousels, and other suitable social content.
• Write clear, natural, and professional captions and short-form business content.
• Publish content consistently across all approved channels.
• Create educational content around identity verification, KYC, KYT, reference checks, fraud prevention, and digital trust.
• Create content explaining the firm’s products and services in simple language.
• Create content aimed at employers, recruiters, estate agents, landlords, property managers and other potential customers.
• Keep the Google Business Profile accurate, active and up to date.
• Monitor and respond to direct messages, comments, mentions and general enquiries.
• Identify potential commercial enquiries and pass them promptly to the Business Development Executive or management.
• Monitor relevant industry conversations and competitor activity.
• Review platform analytics and identify the content that performs best.
• Provide simple weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Support company announcements, partnerships, campaigns, media coverage and events where required.

Requirements

• Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) in any discipline
• 1-2 years’ experience in Digital Communications (Social media) handling
• Experience in managing business social media accounts.
• Practical experience with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and Google Business Profile.
• Ability to create professional graphics and social media content.
• Strong written English and caption-writing ability.
• Ability to plan content and work to a publishing calendar.
• Experience in responding to messages, comments, and customer enquiries.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
• Good attention to detail and professional judgement.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
