We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Slickline Assistant

Location: Nigeria

Purpose

• Support the slickline operator with rigging, equipment handling and maintenance so jobs run safely and without delay.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rig-up and rig-down of the slickline unit, lubricator, BOP and pressure control equipment.
• Make up and break out tool strings under the operator’s direction.
• Handle and spool wire, and fit rope sockets.
• Open and close wellhead valves and bleed off the lubricator when instructed.
• Clean, redress and maintain downhole tools and surface equipment, and keep the tool inventory.
• Load, unload and secure equipment for transport, and take part in lifting operations.
• Keep the work area tidy and take part in toolbox talks and drills.

Requirements

• Education: SSCE minimum.
• Experience: 2+ years in slickline or well services.
• Certifications: the standard offshore set plus basic rigging and slinging; IWCF Well Intervention Level 1 or 2 is an advantage.
• Skills: physical fitness, mechanical aptitude and safe use of hand tools.
