Job Title: Site Lead

Location: Asaba, Delta

Job Description

• The Site Lead will be primarily responsible for the daily management and coordination of the collection site operations, including processing and production of RM, warehousing and storage, logistics and maintenance, while ensuring compliance with all Labour, SHE and Corporate policies.
• The Site Operations Lead will also be responsible for developing and executing site operations strategies to achieve individual and site-specific targets.
• This position is integral to the company’s operations and has profit & loss (P&L) responsibility for processing targets.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of the collection site personnel safely and efficiently.
• Work to optimize processing and production of incoming recyclable material on a multi-shift basis (subject to intake volumes).
• Maximize daily uptime, increase productivity, minimize waste losses, audit inbound and outbound materials, and produce finished products at quality levels acceptable to buyers.
• Responsible for internal reporting, including but not limited to RM count, site inspections, downtime tracking, audit reports, etc.
• Understand and monitor the general flow of recyclable materials through the ERP system.
• Work in accordance with and be well-versed in local obligations that are required across the site.
• Ensure the health and safety of all workers under direct and indirect supervision.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing site-specific inquiries and providing updates to management.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Science or Engineering

Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in a plant/warehouse supervisory or management role
• Experience in recycling, material recovery or material handling facility is an asset

Technical Requirements:

• Solid computer skills with proficiency in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel and other ERP software

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, and oral and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
• Strong understanding of SHE responsibilities in the workplace
• Demonstrated experience in a production environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain staffing levels at an appropriate level to minimise costs
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 / month.
