Job Title: Shisha Attendant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The Shisha Attendant is responsible for preparing, serving, and maintaining shisha for guests in a safe, hygienic, and professional manner.
• The role requires excellent customer service, product knowledge, and strict adherence to lounge policies to ensure a premium guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve shisha according to approved standards and recipes
• Set up shisha equipment properly and ensure correct heat management
• Attend promptly to guest requests, refills, and coal changes
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain shisha equipment before and after use
• Monitor shisha usage to ensure safety and compliance with lounge rules
• Prevent personal sales or side transactions with customers
• Report damaged equipment, low stock, or safety issues to the supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness of the shisha area at all times
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Work closely with waiters, supervisors, and management to ensure smooth service
• Handle guests politely and professionally, even during busy hours.

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE / Secondary School Certificate
• Additional hospitality or service training is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1–2 years experience as a shisha attendant in a lounge, bar, or club
• Proven experience handling shisha equipment professionally
• Experience in a high-volume lounge environment is an added advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Good knowledge of shisha flavors, mixes, and equipment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and during late hours
• Attention to hygiene, safety, and detail
• Honest, disciplined, and reliable
• Team player with a respectful attitude
• Basic understanding of lounge service operations.
