We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shift In Charge – Electrical Maintenance

Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Monitor shift E&I functions during the shift to ensure uninterrupted plant operations
  • Monitor troubleshooting of electrical equipment failures and ensure execution of solutions immediately
  • Track repair and maintenance issues with plant E&I systems to ensure timely completion
  • Execute preventative/predictive maintenance schedule applicable during shift
  • Prepare and submit E&I system inspection and maintenance reports to HOD
  • Coordination with operations and maintenance shift in-charges
  • Regular plant round to monitor E&I activities
  • Interaction with technicians during round and discussion about problem/abnormality if any
  • Manpower handling and monitoring, guiding shift team
  • Resolve grievances of team members promptly
  • Guiding team and support to achieve targets
  • Review & organize manpower responsibility, performance, and plan for continuous improvements
  • Training need identification and execute functional training
  • Ensure all new team members receive training before deployment
  • Involvement in Management system (ISO) and Navision or other similar system.
  • Ensure adequate compliance.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are undertaken complying with HSE standards
  • Guide team members to implement safety culture
  • Achieve safety and housekeeping KRAs/KPIs.

Requirements

  • HND / B.ENG in Electronics, Instrumentation & Telecommunication engineering
  • 10 -15 years of working experience in a similar role.
  • Should have experience of handling EHT, HT, LV equipments and industrial motors transformers
  • Should experience of handling Drives, Actuators and Process Controllers along with process field instruments/ Transducers like PT, DPT, TC, RTD, Level, magnetic flow meter, gas analyzer, and gauges, switches, HART, DCS (ABB),TSI.
