Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Software Development

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

• We are looking for a “Senior Project Manager” to manage and monitor projects implemented by our in-house eCommerce Dev Team products (plugins, bespoke delivery APIs and eShop solutions) supporting our growth in the African e-commerce landscape.

What You’ll Do
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Adapting Kwik eCommerce projects to the requirements of the Company strategy
• Collaborate with the stakeholders (including IT, Business, Top Management) throughout projects
• Stay up to date with all trends in the digital logistics Industry, generate new ideas to take advantage of the technological opportunities that digitization offer
• Present project proposals to the management team
• Create and apply company project management processes and be a part of proactively improving them
• Work with software project planning tools – Microsoft Project, Atlassian JIRA: Planning project timelines, identify key project milestones, Breaking down large initiatives into tasks
• Project governance – reporting project status, risk management, reporting key metrics
• Ensuring project completion in a set timeframe, Communicating progress to stakeholders
• Ensuring project completion in a set timeframe, Communicating progress to stakeholders, Monitoring and tracking task completion, Identification of technical problems, processes and solutions, and skills for their timely resolution

Who You Are
You will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Master’s in Project Management, Computer Science, IT, or similar
• At least 3 years of professional experience as Project Manager (Digital Transformation and ecommerce Projects would be your advantage), knowledge of Scrum methodology
• Critical thinking and negotiation skills, independent way of working, the ability to “think outside the box”, innovative mindset
• Excellent communication skills during discussions and presentations to different audiences
• Proven track record in managing new implementation projects from analysis/definition to launch.
