Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer

Job Description

• We are seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join our team. This role requires expertise in procurement, supplier sourcing, and bid cost analysis within the Oil & Gas / EPC industry.
• The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of procurement regulations, and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and establish competitive cost parameters and budgets for purchase orders.
• Source prospective suppliers and develop bid cost proposals for contracts, RFQs, RFIs, RFXs, and tenders.
• Respond to and follow up on technical queries related to all RFQs, RFIs, and tenders.
• Develop strategic procurement plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
• Identify and onboard technical partners and OEMs in the EPC, Oil & Gas industry.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing, pricing, and vendor performance.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of supplier capabilities and provide report updates.
• Review, analyze, and compare vendors/suppliers’ pricing, quality, and supply options.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders matching initial specifications.
• Follow up on placed orders until final delivery to client locations.
• Maintain and update the approved supplier list, tracking qualifications, delivery timelines, and potential partnerships.
• Collaborate with team members and the Procurement Manager to complete tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• 2 – 3 years of experience in procurement, selling advanced business solutions in the Oil & Gas / EPC industry.
• BSc in a relevant discipline (MBA is an added advantage).
• Proven proficiency in SCM (Supply Chain Management) and Procurement processes for upstream oil and gas.
• Strong understanding of market trends and supplier developments across multiple business sectors.
• Ability to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced procurement environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
