The Federal Polytechnic, Bali was established via the Federal Executive Council’s approval on Wednesday, 14th March, 2007. Following the approval, the Federal Ministry of Education appointed a Ministerial Task Force under the Chairmanship of the immediate past Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education, Dr. Nuru Yakubu, to ensure a speedy take-off. The Taraba State Government and the Bali Local Government Authority donated some facilities and structures for the take-off of the Polytechnic, among which was a 500-hectare piece of land along the Bali-Jalingo Road for the siting of the Permanent Site.

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position below:

Job Title: Senior Lecturer (Fishery Technology) 

Location: Bali, Taraba
Department: Fishery Technology

Requirements

  • Possession of a relevant Master’s Degree with at least 12 years of teaching/research or industrial work experience, a total of three conference/seminar papers and three journal publications, and contributions of two chapters in standard textbooks
    OR
  • A Doctorate Degree in a relevant discipline with at least nine years of teaching/research or industrial work experience, plus three journal publications and four conference/seminar papers.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body is mandatory.

CONPCASS 07.
