Job Title: Senior Executive, Card Services

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Bank’s card services strategy and growth plans.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle and performance of debit, prepaid, credit, virtual, and other card products.
• Oversee card issuance, activation, delivery, replacement, renewal, and operational processes.
• Oversee card settlement, reconciliation, interchange, fees, and financial controls. Lead fraud prevention, dispute, charge-back, and card risk management.
• Provide regular card performance, risk, revenue, and growth reports to the CEO/COO.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve card adoption, customer experience, efficiency, and profitability.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
• 6-9 years of relevant experience in card services, payments, digital banking, fintech, or card product management.
• Proven experience launching, managing, or scaling a card programme.
• Strong understanding of card processing, settlement, reconciliation, fraud, disputes, and chargebacks.
• Knowledge of virtual cards, tokenisation, contactless payments, digital wallets, and payment APIs.
• Strong commercial understanding of card revenue, interchange, processing, and costs.
