Job Title: Senior Electrical Technician (Oil & Gas)

Job Description

• Ability to diagnose, program, and repair diesel engines like Caterpillar Engines, Cummins Engines, Libya Engines, Perkins Engines, etc.
• Oversee the installation of new electrical systems, ensuring they are properly integrated and meet operational requirements and identify and resolve complex electrical faults in equipment such as pumps, motors, compressors, and other machinery.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of a electrical maintenance team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring that safety and quality standards are adhered to
• Assign and prioritize work for junior Electricians, ensuring optimal resource utilization and meeting project deadlines site surveys and assessments.
• Create and or interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Manage or assist with the upgrade of outdated or inefficient electrical systems and components.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations and with health and safety regulations, ensuring that Electricians work in a safe environment, using proper safety gear, and adhering to all safety procedures
• Conduct electrical system testing and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and maintenance of Equipment.
• Communicate with engineers, other technicians, and management to ensure efficient operation of mechanical systems and resolve any issues promptly.
• Identify areas for improvement in electrical maintenance processes, suggesting methods for improving efficiency, reducing downtime, or enhancing system reliability.

Requirements

• HND / BSc Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas as an electrical Engineer or Technician
• Membership in the Engineering Society and certification.

Salary
N850,000 – N1,000,000 monthly.
