Purpose of the Role

• Act as the owner of assigned brand(s), owning brand growth, market performance and the end-to-end consumer journey. Translate consumer, shopper and cultural understanding into outstanding activation, execution and commercial results.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline.
• Typically 4-7 years of marketing, commercial or FMCG experience.
• Proven track record delivering integrated campaigns and business results.
• Strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills.

Experience / skills required:

• Deliver brand P&L, growth, market share, brand health, and ROI objectives across assigned rum brands and portfolio segments.
• Support the development and execution of annual brand plans aligned with global and regional brand strategies.
• Own the execution of the end-to-end consumer and shopper journey, translating global campaigns, growth drivers, and innovation initiatives into locally relevant activations with the Partners.
• Translate consumer, shopper, and cultural insights into compelling activation programs that drive recruitment, penetration, engagement, and loyalty.
• Lead the adaptation of global creative campaigns and brand assets for Africa Partner Markets, ensuring cultural relevance and executional excellence.
• Support brand governance across all Partner Markets by ensuring compliance with global brand standards, visual identity systems, communication guidelines, and responsible marketing policies.
• Partner with market teams to ensure consistent and high-quality execution of brand campaigns, activations, and innovation launches.
• Manage agency partners and adaptation workflows to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of marketing assets.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Supply, Finance, Consumer & Shopper Insights, and Innovation teams to identify and unlock growth opportunities.
• Track, analyse, and report business performance, market trends, and campaign effectiveness, driving optimization actions where required.
• Manage brand budgets and marketing investments to maximize efficiency and commercial return.
• Support innovation launches, portfolio expansion opportunities, and market development initiatives across Africa Partner Markets.
• Share best practices and learnings across markets to enhance marketing effectiveness and execution excellence throughout the region.
