We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Security Assistant 

Location: Kano

Purpose

• To provide effective security cover for company’s assets and employees within the premises and other company locations to enable the BU to achieve its goals.

Responsibilities

• To monitor all security men posted to beat and to ensure there are at alert.
• Supervise stop and search on vehicle coming in and out of the company.
• Making of entry in station diary and other register.
• Conduct patrol within the company’s premises and security beats.
• Clearing all loaded/empty trucks to forestall theft.
• Comply with HSE and FSSC rules.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience

• 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
• Minimum of two years experience in a similar role.

The Person Must:

• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be vigilant, observant, and detail-oriented to detect and respond to potential threats or irregularities.
• Be physically fit and able to conduct regular patrols and stand for extended periods.
• Be knowledgeable in access control procedures, including vehicle and personnel checks.
• Be able to respond quickly and appropriately to security incidents or emergencies.
