Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum principles and best practices.
• Remove impediments and proactively resolve blockers impacting delivery.
• Shield the team from external interruptions and manage stakeholder interference.
• Track sprint metrics such as velocity, burndown, and team performance.
• Support continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable insights.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure backlog readiness and prioritization.
• Promote transparency, accountability, and collaboration within the team.
• Identify risks and escalate issues when necessary.
• Foster a high-performing, self-organizing team environment.
• Ensure adherence to Agile processes and organizational standards.
• Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile role.
• CSM or PSM certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing team dynamics.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
