About the Role

• We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and experienced Science Teacher to join our academic team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, practical, and learner-centred Science lessons that develop students’ curiosity, critical thinking, and understanding of scientific concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well-structured and engaging Science lessons.
• Use practical, interactive, and age-appropriate teaching methods to simplify scientific concepts.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments, classwork, and assessments.
• Assess learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
• Encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical learning.
• Integrate appropriate technology and modern teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
• Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with other educators and contribute to the school’s academic programmes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or NCE in Science, Education, or a relevant Science-related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a reputable school.
• Strong knowledge of the relevant Science curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and lesson delivery skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make Science lessons engaging, practical, and easy to understand.
• Proficiency in using modern teaching methods and digital tools.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to learners’ academic and personal development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a professional teaching team.
